About Our Jacksonville Affordable Homes

We are a full service contracting firm.  We do Residential and Commercial projects.  A big part of our company is building affordable homes in Jacksonville.  We have contacts with many lenders, and have a full time mortgage broker on staff to assist with many financing needs.  We also have a full time Realtor on staff to assist with real estate transaction process. 

Our History

• T. Scott Dennis, President,  founded the company in 2002.  Scott has been in the construction business for 15 years, he has worked on many projects from the smallest rehab job, to large commercial deals.  TS Dennis Construction, Inc.  was actually started as Platinum Properties of Florida, Inc.  Plat Prop was started as a rehab/rental company, and has since evolved into a full fledge construction firm. Scott still likes to run every new construction job the company has going on, he does not and will not sacrifice quality for costs.  When you walk into one of our affordable homes, you will see the little details

• Trace Barrow, Vice President,  came on board with TS Dennis Construction in 2006.  Trace brought with him an extensive background in business and marketing.  In addition Trace is very politically involved with city and federal government.  Trace leads our Renovation/Addition division, and is always out bidding jobs and creating business.  Trace runs all of our City of Jacksonville jobs. If you are in the market for an addition or some remodeling, Trace will meet with you and discuss options, he comes prepared with laptop in hand and a head full of ideas.

• Wendy Dennis is a State of Florida licensed mortgage broker and real estate agent.  She can finance anything from small home equity line of credits, up to multi million dollar real estate deals.  She treats every deal with the respect it deserves.  Wendy also leads our new home sales division.  She is the one to call if you are looking for a new home, if we do not have it in inventory, she will go find it for you and put it together.  Wendy is always on the road, and would be happy to meet with all interested people.  She does presentations at the Housing Partnership, and has become the guru on affordable housing.  She can put people in homes that didn't think that could ever afford one.  Call her anytime.
